Twisted Wrap Ring - 18k Gold-Plated, Adjustable

The Twisted Wrap Ring is a slim, rope-twist band with a little movement in its design. The two ends overlap rather than meeting, giving a soft wrap-around shape that looks delicate on its own and pretty when stacked with plainer bands such as our Adjustable Dome Ring.

The band is approx. 2 mm wide and the open ends make the size adjustable, so there is no need to choose a ring size before you order. Gently ease the ends closer together or further apart to fit your finger the first time you wear it.

Fit: the open band is adjustable and fits most fingers from approx. UK size J to P (about 15.3 - 17.7 mm inner diameter). To adjust, hold the ring at the opening and gently squeeze or ease it open a little at a time. Avoid bending it repeatedly, as this can weaken the metal and the plating.

About the metal: this piece is 316L stainless steel with an 18k gold PVD plating. It is not solid gold: PVD (physical vapour deposition) bonds a thin layer of gold-coloured coating to the steel, which is more resistant to everyday wear than a standard flash plating, but it can still wear gradually with use - faster on rings and bracelets that rub against surfaces. Because it is a base-metal piece, it is not hallmarked. Stainless steel contains a small amount of nickel bound within the alloy, so we cannot promise it will suit every metal allergy - if you have a known allergy, please check with your doctor or pharmacist before wearing it.

Care: to keep the gold colour looking its best, put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before swimming, bathing, showering, exercise and cleaning. Avoid chlorine, salt water and household chemicals. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it on its own in the pouch provided so it does not scratch against other pieces. Do not use silver dips, abrasive polishes or chemically treated polishing cloths, as they can remove the plating.
